<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Is this true?!!Lions Gate Films is aiming for a September start date for its new zombie film FLIGHT OF THE DEAD. Guess what it's about? If you said "zombies on an airplane," you're 100% correct!
In actuality there are just two zombies on the plane in FLIGHT. It turns out that the undead are being transported back to their country of origin -- maybe the country of export doesn't have an open immigration policy for dead folk -- but in any case, the zoms get loose and start creating a living nightmare on the plane (which is now in flight.) That's all we know about the plot, but what a pitch: AIRPORT meets DAWN OF THE DEAD!
The initial version of the screenplay was written by Gary Parker and Tom Lavangnino, with Lorenzo Ozouri and Lions Gate exec John Dunning also lending use of his word processor. Dunning and Lions Gate Entertainment chairman Andre Link are developing the horror film at the studio. No director or cast members are involved just yet.

The "...Of The Dead" title is losing its charm, at least "...Of The Living Dead" hasn't been reused since Return III. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
